My regular readers have no doubt wondered where I’ve been. Why I haven’t been posting and tweeting much over the last year. I’ve received so many emails that I decided it’s time to let the cat out of the bag…
I’ve been hanging out in Brooklyn!
At co-working spaces, incubators, lofts in DUMBO and Williamsburg, at meetups… talking face-to-face with people and loving it!
Getting off the screen and into the world has brought about many changes:
- I’m now managing director at a startup accelerator.
- Met many talented people in the angel, VC, and technology startup communities.
- Gained so much traction for an idea I’ve had for years that we’re launching a Brooklyn-based venture to help grow startups.
- Recently became organizer of Brooklyn Startups.
As a graduate of Pratt Institute, Brooklyn Tech and St. Augustine’s School (formerly at Lafayette and Marcy Ave)… I’ve been blessed with one of the finest educations you can get anywhere in the world… all within three miles of my childhood home. So why not Brooklyn!
It’s an honor to give back in any way I can… stay tuned for lots more on this.
