Welcome to my blog, where I predict, rant, rave, theorize, and think out loud about business on the Internet.

I’ve worked as a Digital Marketing, ecommerce, search engine optimization, lead generation, and conversion-rate consultant since 1998… helping online companies, local businesses, and Fortune 1000 firms dominate their markets.

Have over twenty-five years of entrepreneurial experience.  Started my first business in New England in the 80′s and ten years later sold it for seven figures.

Relocated to Atlanta and co-founded a multimedia company that was bought by a competitor in just two years.  Highly effective marketing was the key to success in both instances.

Before achieving entrepreneurial freedom I held marketing management positions with the Gillette Company and Playtex Products.

Even with all my online experience I don’t consider myself an expert, more of a student.  Digital marketing is not something you learn in one sitting, or even a thousand sittings. I learn something new each day and re-learn something every other day.

Some of my clients say that my ability to connect the conceptual dots, combined with my knowledge of consumer marketing and value chains, has lead to direct increases their profitability.

When my business clients generate more leads and make more money, or when a non-proft client gains new donors, I know that I’ve done a good job.

My greatest accomplishment so far… my wonderful fourteen-year old daughter, Lauren.

She’s an honor student, plays forward on three basketball teams, runs track, is on the volleyball team, plays the clarinet, and she’s a good person with nice friends.  All that and she remains humble… probably by letting her very proud Dad do the boasting, :-) lol.
