Welcome to my blog, where I predict, rant, rave, theorize, and think out loud about business on the Internet.

I’ve worked as a digital marketing, ecommerce, search engine optimization, lead generation, and conversion-rate consultant since 1997… helping online companies, local businesses, and Fortune 1000 firms dominate their markets.

Now have over twenty-five years of entrepreneurial experience… started my first business in New England and ten years later sold it for seven figures.  After relocating to Atlanta, I co-founded a multimedia company that was bought by a major agency in just two years.

Innovative branding and marketing were the keys to success in both businesses.

I held CPG product management positions with the Gillette Company and Playtex Products before achieving entrepreneurial freedom.

In spite of all my online experience, I don’t consider myself an expert, more of a student.  Digital marketing is not something you learn in one sitting… or even a thousand sittings.  I really love learning something new every week and re-learning something else every other week.

Many of our clients say that my ability to connect the conceptual dots, combined with my knowledge of consumer marketing and value chains has lead to direct increases in their profitability.

When my business clients generate more leads and sales, or when a non-profit client gains new donors, I know that I’ve done a good job.

My greatest accomplishment so far… my wonderful fifteen-year old daughter, Lauren.  Who takes honors courses, is one of two freshman on the varsity basketball team, plays the clarinet, runs track, and she’s a good person with nice friends.  All that and she remains humble… probably by letting her proud Dad do all the boasting, :-).
